Dear fellow tax hikers, we proudly endorse our friend and ally Vicky Zwissler for Wyoming City Council. This year Vicky seeks her Council comeback after being unceremoniously dumped by city voters in 2007. We ask all the good white folk in Wyoming (the city, not the state) to remember at all the great things she's done and put her back on Council.
1. As a Councilman, Vicky voted to raise Wyoming's Income Tax by a whopping 60%. As tax hikers we all know that the government deserves that money; you don't.
2. Was the driving force behind Council's infamous decision to have the city build a $4 million luxury pool (in Woodlawn), notwithstanding the presence of the Wyoming Swim Club centrally located in Wyoming just 1/2 mile from the Zwissler abode. Important projects like this are why your taxes needed to be raised 60%. We do not believe that Vicky had any conflict of interest just because she happens to be the President of the Swim Team that heavily utilizes this facility, or because her entire household has always enjoyed an outsized use of this taxpayer-funded luxury that she spearheaded.
3. Donated to ethically-challenged Democrat Jim O'Reilly for Judge over that awful Republican Pat Dinkelacker. As a result of his conduct during this race, O'Reilly was sanctioned by the Ohio Supreme Court for running a highly dishonest television ad that violated Canon 7(E)(1) of the Code of Judicial Conduct and fined $5,000 plus the costs of the proceedings against him. Victoria donated to O'Reilly on October 19th, 2006, long after this ad started airing and 3 days after the initial complaint was filed against him. Sound ethics cannot get in the way of electing our type of people, and we are glad that Victoria shares this belief.
4. A dedicated feminist warrior, MS. Zwissler has always kept her maiden name, vowing never to take the name of a dirty man.
5. We hope Vicky will join with her friend Lynn Larson to help maintain Wyoming's undisputed status as a mecca for underage drinking. This title was confirmed by the April 9th incident that resulted in 28 arrests (names here), and reinforced by the August incident at Wyoming School Board member Lynn Larson's home that resulted in more legal troubles (names here). Three of the geniuses managed to get themselves collared in both incidents.
We need Zwissler back on council. The city needs higher taxes. The city needs more luxury pools and other monuments. We urge you to ignore her past electoral failures and vote for Vicky Zwissler for Wyoming City Council.

I love point #4. Does that mean she supports abortion and gay marriage?
You know, Wyoming used to be a Greek state.
Vix! Congrats, honey! OMG this is sooooo freaking cool!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU GET BACK ON COUNCIL!!!
You don't have any smelly west siders running your campaign this time, right???
Wyoming needs to pass emergency legislation banning her from wearing that ridiculous Pocahontas outfit. The real Pocahontas could have gone six months without brushing her teeth or shaving her legs, and would still look better than Vicky does dressed like that.
Um, Vix, honey, sounds like we need a fasion emergency intervention. I need another new outfit anyway. Meet me at Kenwood, STAT! How about tomorrow afternoon? It's gonna be a slow work day tomorrow, because, at 700 Walnut, every day is a slow work day! Shhhh! Don't tell anyone!
Work day? On a Friday? At the HCGOP?
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!
Everyone deserves a drink (or 10) after a long week at work or school. Bottom's up!

I mean, Pour Some More
You forgot to mention Vicky's last-minute and negative Republican primary state representative campaign against proven conservative Sycamore Township Trustee Tom Weidman.
Victoria's last-second entry in the race helped clear the way for unelectable hothead Mike Wilson to get the nomination, which then he lost to Democrat Connie Pillich.
Republicans picked up 14 seats in the House and could have had this one if Tom Weidman had been the nominee.
If it weren't for Vicky Zwissler's treachery, we would have a proven conservative state legislator instead of tax hiking heroine Connie Pillich.
Yet another jewel in Victoria's crown.
She's my kind of Republican! We have to stand up to all those right wing racist tea party types and tell them once and for all that Democrats, err, I mean Republicans rock!
Sycamore Sam, how do you blame Zwissler for Weidman's loss? Wilson was 17 points ahead of his nearest competitor. Weidman would have had to get almost all of Zwissler's voters. What evidence is there he would have?
Not defending Vicky, but the numbers don't support your conclusion. Personally I think both Weidman and Zwissler need to accept their loss and move on with life. Quit blaming everyone else for your failures!
Dar 28th District Voter,
You should ask your own tax-hiking hero, Bill Seitz, his take on the matter. Bill has convincing evidence that Vicky's entry cost Weidman some cash and endorsements which he otherwise would have had, and which he would have otherwise defeated Wilson with.
Seitz also believes Weidman made a strategic error and should have ignored Zwissler's nasty attacks against him, without which he would have targeted the rest of the district better.
You really should get out more and talk to the people whose tax-and-spend ideology make this website what it is.
Sid, anyone can dream up all the theories they want, but actual election returns do not back your conclusions. Here are the actual primary results in that race:
Wilson: 4410
Weidman: 2721
Zwissler: 2496
Paul: 262
If Zwissler wasn't running it's safe to assume that most of her votes would have gone to Weidman and Wilson since Paul didn't campaign. In that situation, Weidman would have needed to win the Zwissler vote by an 85-15 margin just to by a few votes, which is a preposterous assumption.
The numbers aren't backing your claims. The real issue is Weidman, like Zwissler, needs to GET OVER IT and move on with life. The juvenile whining from both of them isn't winning them any friends.
Weidman's "I Coulda Been a Contendah" act is wearing very thin in Sycamore. 28thDV is correct with the numbers, but the truth is even more stacked against Weidman. Without Zwissler on the ballot, more people would have skipped over that contest on the ballot and the people personally friendly with her might not have voted in the Republican primary or voted at all.
Hangovers are the price we pay for a good Par-Tay.
omg! i luv all my fellow class of 11 peeps but how am i supposed to STUDEE when i gotta keep bailing u outta jail??? xoxo
Thank you Wyoming citizens for your feedback. We can see that our Vicky is in good hands.
Get out there and vote for Vicky on Tuesday! And then head over to the Larson compound and have a drink.
Lynn, whatcha serving? I hope it's the good stuff. You Wyoming types are the best. I can count on you not to have any smelly, inbred west siders at your house. Unless they're mowing your lawn or something.
