Support the Lockland Schools tax hike

Dear fellow tax hikers, we strongly support the 11.2 mill Lockland Schools Levy.  This tax increase would cost an additional $392 per year on a $100,000 property and it is worth every penny.

There could be dire consequences if this tax hike doesn't pass.

And somewhere down the line, it might mean the Ohio Department of Education steps in and decides Lockland – with its district-wide enrollment of 585 – is no longer viable.

This is serious stuff.  If Lockland taxpayers don't gift themselves a significant tax increase, their community might have to join a school district with more than 585 kids!!!

We can't have that.  Lockland must pass an 11.2 mill tax hike so they can keep their own school district and provide lots of dollars for the administrators. Vote yes.  You need to have less so the school administrators can have more.

Where can I endorse this amazing tax increase?

  2. This is so much better than what those clowns in Northwest are trying to pull.

  3. Making public records requests under an assumed name is so much fun. Making them for someone whose obsession with public records requests nearly cost her job is even more enjoyable. Lockland people better watch out if I get bored where I am.

  4. Do politicians in Lockland steal private citizens' personal property like the criminal trustees in Colerain Township do?

  5. Are gigantic tax hikes as popular in Lockland as I am my own district? Probably not. While I am in Columbus doing the people's business as an elected official, Rick Bryan can sit home and watch TV waiting for the results to come in. And he can go fuck himself while he does it.

When you come from the right family, and you only let the right people marry in to yours, and the old man hand you a seat as though it were a peerage in the House of Lords, you needn't worry about trivial matters such as appropriately funding our schools. If we ever do breed a new generation, money sure as heck aren't going to the common schools.

Board tried to sneak a big levy past us and got what it deserved. I hope those lying fake conservatives try this stunt agin in November and we can vote it down by an even bigger margin.

  9. If I truly were the Eighth Wonder of the Policy World, I would have a solution for the good people at Lockland. Now that I live in Hyde Park and I have the newspaper people practically begging me to run for Cincinnati City Council, I don't have to do anything for anyone. Time to start raking in the dough as a lawyer and party with my new bride and my besties, go to the best entertainment venues to see and be seen, all the while with a news media willing to tell all those commoners just how much I truly care about them. Ain't life grand?

Oh man! Lockland is the pits. It's even worse than the west side. Had no idea that was even possible.

I did not have anything to do with this campaign or the one on northwest. For some reason no one wants to hire me anymore.

  12. Supporting tax hikes? Check.

Tax hike in a special election with low turnout? Check.

Deceiving voters by claiming a tax hike is a tax cut? Check.

Wanting to spend $87,000,000 "for the children? Check.

Adding to the growth of government and tax bills? Check.

Remind me again why we elected self-appointed conservatives to the school board again?

  13. Leaving my pod was a decision that this land locked orca will never regret as it led me to the most glorious portly stock boy in the history of inner city liquor stores. Break free from the chains of isolation and join with the greater community and you too may find the kind of physical and mental fitness that I discuss on my blog, lard for lawyers.
