GOP refuses to endorse 3 conservative lawmakers

Dear fellow tax hikers, we are very happy to report that our Ohio Republican Party (ORP) refused to endorse three evil conservative Republican State Representatives for re-election.  Normally the ORP automatically endorses all its incumbents, but something had to be done to send a message to conservatives that they aren't welcome anymore. 

The three unendorsed lawmakers are Southwest Ohio Reps Ron Maag and John Becker, along with Ron Hood who conducts his treachery elsewhere in the state.  They are more devoted to their constituents and conservative principles than they are to the political machine and Statehouse lobbyists.  And for that, they must be punished. 

The Ohio House GOP Caucus requested to the ORP that these three not be endorsed.  They did recommend that State Rep. Peter Beck, who is under indictment on 69 felony charges, receive the endorsement.  That makes sense to us.

If Beck was indicted for 70 or 71 felonies we might have had a problem, but as long as he's a 69er we'll be with him. 

However our ORP Chairman Matt Borges, himself a convicted criminal with numerous tax liens, decided that Beck should not be endorsed.  You know, maybe we were wrong to support Beck.  Thank goodness we have Chairman Borges to serve as our moral authority.  Either way, we are very proud of the Republican Party for putting conservatives in their place.

53 more felony indictments for Pete Beck

Dear fellow tax hikers, State Representative Peter Beck has been indicted on 53 more felonies.  Including the 16 prior counts, Beck is now the proud owner of 69 felony indictments. 

For those keeping score at home, that's 60 more felony charges than Judge Tracie Hunter.  We are unsure if "Bishop" Bobby Hilton will be shilling for Beck like he has for Hunter, but regardless we believe these charges are politically-motivated. 

This is part of an organized conservative conspiracy to push aside older, obedient, white men from office in favor of younger Republicans.  These indictments are a clear attempt to hurt the Rick Bryan for State Representative campaign.  By impugning Beck, they are trying to send a message that older, obedient, white Republican men cannot be trusted. 

Beck has fought through adversity before and he'll get through this.  Before being selected to the Statehouse, Beck ran for Warren County Commissioner and lost.  He would have won that race had his campaign not been so badly mismanaged.  But he rallied back.  He found some competent campaign management and has served us proudly in the Statehouse ever since.  We stand with Beck.

Dear fellow tax hikes, State Representative Peter Beck has been sued for taking a lead role in defrauding investors out of $1.2 million.  Some of this money found its way to the Beck campaign.  Even wore, it has just been reported that some of Beck's co-defendants were recently sued on similar claims.  We encourage all of you to learn about these cases yourselves.

This is shocking to us.  Beck is one of us Establishment Republicans - people who support using the government to benefits ourselves, as opposed to those obnoxious conservatives who want to keep the government small and play no favorites.  For example, when our good friend Peter Stautberg was challenged in the 2012 primary, Beck proudly endorsed Stautberg.

Prior to becoming State Representative, Beck challenged incumbent Mike Kilburn in the Republican Primary for Warren County Commissioner.  Despite strong backing from the builders and a large warchest, Beck's campaign was comically inept, and this incompetence led to a narrow loss in a highly winnable race.  Does anyone know who managed that campaign???

We are standing behind Beck 100%.  We stood by Jean Schmidt when she took over $500,000 of illegal payouts from the Turkish lobby.  We stood by Governor Bob Taft after he was convicted of 4 crimes in office.  Even if Beck is found guilty we will support him just like we supported Taft and Schmidt.  We Establishment Republicans take up for our own.
