Blue Ash Council subsidizes their golf course

Dear fellow tax hikers, we hope all of our Blue Ash readers are happy this week.  If not, they will be after learning that their tax dollars are subsidizing the Blue Ash Golf Course to the tune of $220,000 per year.

We fully endorse this generous subsidy.  With golf now being dominated by the impoverished, it would not be fair to expect golf hobbyists to pay for their own rounds.  Blue Ash taxpayers need to subsidize the hordes of lower income folks who flock to the golf course for their Friday afternoon tee times.

We are glad to see Tax Hikin' Rick Bryan, Jack Buckman, and Blue Ash Council looking out for the lower income golfers just as they look out for themselves.  The Blue Ash Golf Course needs this tax money.  The police, fire, sidewalks, and neighborhoods don't.  If Blue Ash voters continue re-electing the likes of Rick Bryan, Jim Sumner, and Marc Sirkin, they can rest easy knowing that their tax dollars will continue to subsidize the golf course along with the European Vacations of their Councilmen.

This is the decision we made and all you peons will just have to live with it. If you don't like it you will keep your opinions to yourself. You do not ever criticize a Blue Ash Councilman. If you do, we'll ruin you like we did to Dever.

My loyal husband and I took refuge in golf courses back when we were flat broke. I thank my comrades on Blue Ash Council for looking out for us little folk.

Now that I left the ignorant hicks of the 28th District and bought a home in Hyde Park, I can say what I really think about matters like these. I am so ecstatic that my good friends Marc Sirkin and Rick Bryan are using Blue Ash tax dollars so non-Blue Ash residents like me can play a cheaper round.

I play, and Blue Ash taxpayers pay. That's good government for you.

I am so proud of my frienlies on Blue Ash City Council who have decided to put tax dollars into a golf course. Those desperate losers on the west side don't have money for golf courses are parks. It's all they can do to pay for police and fire.

When you come from a proper family and only let proper people marry into yours and the old man hands you a legislative seat as though it were a peerage in the House of Lords, you find policy matters such as these to be entirely trivial and beneath you. However, we are always grateful to the peons whose earnings taxes subsidize our recreation. Thank you, loyal subjects of the Crown.

Win-win for us. We build public support for these taxes, get all the big businesses and non-profits to get behind it. Then we get the Republican Party to support it. This aggravates a lot of their most loyal voters, who then stay home, vote for Libertarians, or vote for our candidates because they see there rally isn't much difference.

Either way, all the benefits accrue to me. I've yet to have an election cycle end holding fewer seats than I began with and I've yet to have an incumbent lose a seat at the ballot box since my "good friend" Alex became chair. I've also not had a single elected offical resign or lose a seat because of their personal behavior, unlike Alex.

Alex Triantafilou is the best thing that has ever happened to us.

Sounds like our kind of place. Will they subsidize our drinks too?

Maybe if I had invested in golf courses when I raised Springdale's earnings tax by50% back in 2004, I might have been able to grow our community and not let it stagnate. Maybe we could have had more growth if I hadn't supported every Princeton tax hike that came along even as their academic results dropped, maybe if I hadn't backed two losers so publicly in their bid for state office and if my daughter didn't trash our governor while supposedly leading our business efforts, we might have a better community in Springdale. Instead I backed tax hike after tax hike and got behind loser after loser while our daughter's incompetent campaign management and caustic personality led so many to want to have nothing to do with Springdale. But at least we got a Beef O'Brady's.

Thank you for your support of our beloved Golf Course here in Blue Ash, As the brains behind the growth and development of Blue Ash, it gives me great pleasure to see government supporting important business. I can't for the life of me figure out why so few of your readers wish to comment on important high-profile topics such as these while so many want to comment on dumpy old Colerain Township and those unrepentant hillbillies.

This is great for us. I get to pound my chest about how conservative we are in Sycamore and how we aren't like those big spenders in Blue Ash. Then I hop in my Lexus and play a round or two with my fellow trustees and have a few drinks. All of which is subsidized by those tax paying suckers in Blue Ash. Thanks guys. I get to look good and play good on your back.

We herald this development as even more proof that our party needs to be the party of big government spending, abortion on demand and free stuff for illegal immigrants if we ever want to win another election ever again.

We've been a little busy since all of our candidates have opposition this year. Maybe Blue Ash can help subsidize clean up efforts in that trash infested ghetto to out north.

My good friends Marc Sirkin and Rick Bryan are always looking out for the rich folk. I love golfing in Blue Ash.

You can't beat the discount - the one generously provided by the Blue Ash taxpayer. They pay, I play. It's a damn shame we couldn't get Rick Bryan in the State House.
