Jean Schmidt drops Turkish-backed lawsuit against David Krikorian

Dear fellow tax hikers, our great Congresswoman Jean Schmidt has abruptly dropped her $6.8 million defamation lawsuit against Armenian-American David Krikorian.  Schmidt filed this lawsuit because Krikorian said something mean about her in the 2008 elections.  We firmly believe this justified a $6.8 million lawsuit, funded illegally by foreign special interest groups.

It's kind of ironic that this Turkish-funded lawsuit ended shortly after the voters ended Schmidt's run in Congress.  Many believe Schmidt's extensive cohorting with Turkish special interests, and the ethics woes it led to, ultimately caused her humiliating defeat against the evil conservative Brad Wenstrup.

This lawsuit was illegally funded by affiliates of the Turkish Coalition of America.  Schmidt accepted nearly $500,000 of legal services from them, but claimed she had no idea it was illegal.  We totally believe her.  After all, we frequently accept $500,000 gifts from people without knowing whether they are legal.  Maybe Schmidt believed these extensive legal costs were being paid for by The Legal Fairy.

Sure enough, the fine Congressional Ethics Committee believed Schmidt.  They declared that these gifts were indeed illegal, but also said Schmidt didn't do anything wrong because she had no idea what was going on.  Why couldn't the voters reach the same conclusion?  Why is it so hard for some people to believe that a Congressman could receive $500,000 in illegal gifts from foreign special interests for an expensive lawsuit without knowing these gifts violated the law?

We condemn the voters for replacing our Jeannie with conservative military veteran Brad Wenstrup.  She served our country nearly as well as she served her Turkish benefactors.  Without those benefactors giving her huge illegal gifts, Schmidt would have had to fund her own lawsuit against Krikorian and she didn't want to do that.  Because of this, Krikorian will be able to get away with saying mean things about our beloved Jean Schmidt and that's not fair.

Support Kevin DeWine

Dear fellow tax hikers, we are deeply concerned for our tax-and-spend Ohio Republican Party leader Kevin DeWine.  The GOP Chairmen of the largest counties in Ohio have signed a letter encouraging DeWine to resign now as Ohio Republican Party Chairman.  Mr. DeWine has done a great job for us.  Losing him would be a terrible blow to our movement.

DeWine has been one of Ohio's tax-and-spend leaders.  DeWine voted for Bob Taft's tax increases when he was in the Legislature.  DeWine supported Bob Taft's Third Frontier program so Ohio can invest in its own companies like Solyndra.  DeWine was a reliable supporter of the Bob Taft agenda that made Ohio so strong in the past decade.

DeWine is a close, close friend and ally of our 2010 Tax Hiker of the Year Jon Husted.  DeWine has been undermining our terrible Governor John Kasich and his agenda from day one, knowing the sooner Kasich is out of the way the sooner we can get Husted as our Governor.  Don't we all want the pro-ACORN, tax-and-spend Husted as our next Governor?  If so, fight for Kevin DeWine now or we will lose Husted's top ally as our party Chairman.

We are especially happy that DeWine has squandered hundreds-of-thousands (or more) of GOP dollars to defeat fellow Republicans rather than save the money to beat the Democrats in November.  We don't want to defeat Barack Obama.  We don't want to defeat Sherrod Brown.  By squandering these limited party resources to his favored Republicans in Republican primaries, DeWine has increased the chances that Obama and Brown will carry Ohio in November.  Isn't that what we all want?  Keep Kevin DeWine as our GOP Chairman!  Barack Obama is depending on it.

Man electrocuted breaking into electric plant

Dear fellow tax hikers, did you ever think that breaking into an electric company's power plant and trying to steal their equipment might not be the best idea?  Well, the man featured in this story had other plans.

A man broke into a Duke Energy substation, and was promptly electrocuted to death.  It's kind of shocking.  We suspect he won't be stealing again.

Is Connie Pillich a racist?

Dear fellow tax hikers, we have received some very interesting information about State Representative Connie Pillich and her real views about minorities.  In recent weeks the State House took up discussion on HB 408, legislation which would add two suburban voices to the 5-person CMHA Board.  Our awful Hamilton County Commissioner Chris Monzel traveled to Columbus to testify in favor it, which led to an exchange with Rep. Pillich.

According to the Gongwer news review of the testimony, Pillich asked Monzel if one of the concerns behind this legislation is the possibility of black people moving into predominantly white townships.

Rep. Connie Pillich (D-Montgomery) asked whether another concern involved issues with the potential for predominantly black CHMA residents moving into predominantly white townships.

Our sources tell us Pillich's questions were even more confrontational than reported by that news service.  They tell us Pillich asked Monzel if his real goal isn't to stop black people from moving out into the suburbs.

Is Connie Pillich suggesting that black people can't move out of "the city" without a government program to do it for them?  Is she saying black citizens are incapable of locating themselves into their chosen neighborhood?

Let's take a look at the record of these two individuals when it comes to their willingness to live near black people.  Pillich lives in the city of Montgomery.  According to the 2010 Census, Montgomery is 2.7% black.  For most of the past 15 years, Monzel has lived in Cincinnati, which is 44.8% black.  Should we ask our numbers crew to tell us which of these two has a problem living near black people and which one doesn't?

We don't believe Pillich is a racist.  We believe she loves minorities, when they show up to the polls and vote for her.  She just doesn't want "those people" living near her.  That's our progressive white liberal Connie Pillich.

Schmidt dined with Turkey Ambassador, on Election Day

Dear fellow tax hikers, we have recently learned some astonishing information about our great Congresswoman Jean Schmidt.  While disgusting conservative military veteran Brad Wenstrup was here defeating Jean on Election Day, Congresswoman Schmidt was in Washington, D.C. dining with the Ambassador of Turkey to the United States!

At times, Rep. Jean Schmidt has been closer to Turkish interests than those of her Cincinnati-area constituents. Never was that proximity problem more telling than on Tuesday, when Republicans denied Schmidt renomination to run for another term.

While voters were casting ballots that day, Schmidt was in Washington, D.C., at a private luncheon with Turkish Ambassador Namik Tan, several sources told POLITICO.
The decision to stay in the nation’s capital - and particularly to focus on Turkish-American relations - is the best evidence yet that Schmidt simply didn’t get how much trouble she was in back home.

We hear our conservative critics have been laughing all day about this most-ironic news.

On this one issue, we are going to join the criticism of Jean Schmidt.  We worked hard for her.  Our allies worked hard for her.  We were all here in SW Ohio trying to win this race for her.  Schmidt should have been here too helping us save her career.  We feel let down by her absence.

We will continue to defend Jean on everything else.  We strongly defend her numerous votes for higher taxes.  We will defend her bailouts for billionaires on Wall Street.  We will defend her many ethical transgressions that may have cost her the election.  We hope she rises again.  But if we ever support her again, she better park it here on Election Day.

Post-election wrapup

Dear fellow tax hikers, in the past few days we have mourned the loss of our good friend Jean Schmidt to the evil conservative military veteran Brad Wenstrup.  However, there were other items on Election Day and we must review those too.

First, we would like to congratulate Lonnie Bowling for a solid first-time run for State Representative.  Lonnie received an impressive 11% of the vote in a 2-way race, holding Mike Wilson's margin of victory to under 80 points.  To our knowledge, we were Lonnie's only endorsement.  We are pleased that our endorsement may have pushed him into the double digits.

On the positive side, there were several tax increases that passed, including all 3 that we endorsed!  The citizens of the Princeton School District, Wyoming School District, and Forest Hills School District will all enjoy the benefits of higher taxation.  We were especially pleased with the passage of the Princeton levy.  Princeton Schools already spend more money than 98% of school districts in Ohio.  Now they will spend even more!  They have a real chance at becoming the absolute biggest #1 spenders in Ohio.

We were very pleased to see Mike Brown's own bought-and-paid-for State Representative Peter Stautberg defeat our enemy Tom Brinkman.  Brinkman is an anti-tax conservative who opposed the Stadium Sales Tax hike and all of Bob Taft's tax increases.  Stautberg benefited from 6-figures worth of tv ads that were highly misleading, but that's fine with us.  We at Republicans for Higher Taxes never let ethics get in the way of our big government agenda - after all, we endorsed Jean Schmidt.

Finally, we condemn a prominent Armenian newspaper for their mean comments about Jean Schmidt.  It disgusts us that the Armenian paper Asbarez referred to our Jeannie as the "biggest Turkish whore in the U.S. House of Representatives."  Jean Schmidt is not a Turkish whore.  Schmidt might be a Wall Street whore, or one of Bob Taft's whores, or a Stan Chesley whore, but she is not a Turkish whore.  Jean's loss was a travesty and one we will not forget.

Jean Schmidt's defeat, 48 hours later

Dear fellow tax hikers, all of the political talk in Southwest Ohio has been focused on the shocking upset of our friend Jean Schmidt by the evil conservative military veteran Brad Wenstrup.  We, and our allies, have taken this loss very hard.  Our Jeannie embodied our values.  It hurts to lose someone this great.

We ask you, our loyal supporters, to tell us why our Congresswoman Jean Schmidt was defeated.  Is it:

A)  Her support for higher Sales Taxes, Gas Taxes, and Income Taxes
B)  Voting for the Wall Street bailouts
C)  Voting to raise the debt ceiling
D)  Her numerous ethical scandals, including the revelation that she accepted $500,000 in illegal gifts from foreign interests
E)  The bad karma inflicted on her campaign by some of her supporters who are talented at losing elections
F)  Make-out sessions with Our Messiah Barack Obama
G)  Her disappearance from the campaign trail for most of the year

We want to read your thoughts.  Please post your answers in the comments section.  Through togetherness, maybe we can begin to heal from our pain.

Jean Schmidt defeated

Dear fellow tax hikers, we and all our allies wake up this morning in a deep state of shock and anger at the surprise defeat of our great Congresswoman Jean Schmidt.  However, we know we have a duty to be here to be the shoulder that all tax-and-spend Republicans can cry on.  We blame the Tea Party, COAST, and conservative voters for joining together to defeat our tax-and-spend hero Jean.  We are angry about this and will take decisive action in response.

Already, Jean Schmidt shill blogger Matt Hurley has decided to start a hunger strike.  And we hear Campaign Expert Ph.D. Julie Matheny may ban herself from Facebook, for about 20 minutes anyways.  This is just the beginning.  You have not heard the last from Schmidt and her supporters.

We're going to miss Jean Schmidt.  We're going to miss her many tax increases.  We're going to miss her bailouts for the wealthiest amongst us.  We're going to miss her big spending.  We will deeply miss her numerous ethical scandals and public make-out sessions with Barack Obama.

Brad Wenstrup can enjoy his win tonight.  Just know in two years we will take this seat back.  We will not allow the conservatives to hold this position for long.

Mike Brown's final thoughts

Dear fellow tax hikers, we close our primary coverage with a tribute to our Beloved Bengals Owner Mike Brown.  Mike Brown donated $1,000 to Peter Stautberg because Stautberg will carry out the Brown family agenda much better than Tom Brinkman ever will.

Tom Brinkman opposed the Stadium Sales Tax in 1996.  Brinkman opposed the Bedinghaus lease deal that has made the Brown family wealthy beyond their wildest dreams.  After that, he co-founded that terrible anti-tax organization known as COAST.  Brinkman has been nothing but a thorn in Brown's side.

Brown knows he will get his money's worth out of Stautberg.  Bengals attorney Stuart Dornette also knows this, which is why he donated $500 to Stautberg.  Stautberg is the best State Rep that money can buy.

When you go to the polls today, please remember to vote Peter Stautberg for State Representative.  That's what Mike Brown would want you to do.

2012 Primary Endorsement Wrapup

Dear fellow tax hikers, we command all of you to vote this Tuesday to advance our shared agenda of higher taxes and more spending.  We have been very active this campaign season in support of those who share our values.   For your benefit we have recapped our endorsements for this important election and added two new ones.

Peter Stautberg for State Representative.  Stautberg stood by the streetcar when we needed it the most.  Stautberg expressed support for the big-tax package that Brinkman opposed.  Bengals Owner Mike Brown gave Stautberg $1000 and Bengals attorney Stu Dornette added $500.  That's good enough for us so it should be good enough for you.

Jean Schmidt for Congress.  Our Jeannie has supported higher Sales Taxes, higher Gas Taxes, higher Income Taxes, higher Hotel Taxes, and supported bailing out Wall Street.  This is in addition to all her ethical problems which are everyone's fault but hers.

Lonnie Bowling for State Representative.  Our boy Lonnie has campaigned for great liberals like Mrs. Hillary Rodham Clinton, Roxanne Qualls, MS. Connie Pillich, Mark Mallory, and our 2011 Tax Hiker of the Year Rick Bryan.  We know that Liberal Lonnie will be a much better State Rep than the awful conservative Mike Wilson.

Princeton School District Property Tax Hike.  This is a tax increase so vote Yes or you hate the children.  The Princeton Schools already spend more money per student than over 98% of school districts in Ohio, but they'll never be the #1 biggest spenders unless you vote yes on this important tax hike.

Wyoming School District Property Tax Hike.  This is a tax increase so vote Yes or you hate the children.  This 37-year property tax hike is to repair the Middle School.  The Middle School is old and therefore needs $25 million of repairs.  Right now, there are 2 pigeons who sometimes land on the windows, and kids have to take makeup tests in the hallways!  That's terrible and it requires a 37-year tax increase to fix.

Forest Hills Local Schools Property Tax Hike.  This is a tax increase so vote Yes or you hate the children.

Lou Blessing for State Representative.  As a State Legislator Lou Blessing voted to raise Ohio's Sales Tax by 20%.  Let's keep a good thing going!  Lou Blessing for State Rep.

Lynn Larson, Wyoming School Board Party Mom

Dear fellow tax hikers, we are delighted to live-blog this entry from the Larson compound as they host one of their infamous Saturday night parties.  It's fantastic out here.  Open bar, all ages welcome, tax hiking drunks everywhere!  Tonight we profile Wyoming School Board Member Lynn Pulsfort Larson.  Lady Lynn is a hot sexy MILF with a proud history of raising taxes and hating police.

Currently Mrs. Larson is one of the campaign leaders for the ballot proposal to raise Wyoming's property taxes for 37 years.  We have proudly endorsed this necessary tax increase.  This is only one of the many great things she has done.  Please consider the full Lynn Larson record:

1.  Our Lynn is a proud, veteran pro-tax member of the Wyoming School Board.  Lynn has worked very hard to increase taxes on the undertaxed citizens of Wyoming.  And as cited above, Lynn and hubby Don are co-chairs for the big property tax increase that will pass this Tuesday.

2.  Not content to raise taxes just in Wyoming, liberal Lynn donated a whopping $1500 to liberal Democrat David Pepper in his run for State Auditor against the evil conservative David Yost.

3.  Lynn donated $250 to MS. Vicky Zwissler when she ran for State Representative against two conservatives.  Just as we did, Lynn appreciated MS. Zwissler's vote to raise Wyoming's Income Tax by 60%.

4.  Lynn has courageously trashed the Wyoming Police Department for enforcing the law against rich white kids who break it.  When Lynn's cute baby boy and his equally dumb friends were caught breaking the law, Lynn did what any good parent would do - blame the police.  It wasn't her kid's fault for hosting an illegal party where someone got hurt, or her fault for being an inattentive parent, it's always the police's fault when a Good White Kid from a Good White Family gets in trouble with the law.  According to Lynn, these white kids (and their black friend) should not have to face the consequences of their behaviors.

5.  As a result of Lynn's fine work on the School Board, the Wyoming School District was recently downgraded a level in the state rankings, placing them just one level above the vaunted Cincinnati Public Schools.

Lynn Larson is a great tax hiker, great School Board member, and great parent.  We can't wait to raise your property taxes to give someone like this more of our money.  Wyoming residents - get out there Tuesday and vote to raise your property taxes for 37 years.  Mrs. Larson needs the money, just as I need to get back to this party and have another drink!

Jean Schmidt for Congress

Dear fellow tax hikers, we proudly endorse our dear big government friend Jean Schmidt as she seeks her return to Congress.  Schmidt has an extensive record of raising taxes, growing government, and violating ethics laws.  Consider the Schmidt record:

1.  Proudly joined with Bob Taft to raise Ohio Sales Tax by 20%.  Taft needed that money more than you.

2.  Voted for Bob Taft's 20% Gas Tax increase.  Gas prices were too low, but Schmidt took care of that problem.

3.  Voted to raise federal income taxes.  Failing to maintain the existing tax rates, and raising taxes back to where they were during the Clinton/Gore era, would have cost U.S. taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars and more.

4.  Enthusiastically voted for the $800 billion Bush/Obama Bailout for Billionaires on Wall Street.

5.  Sponsored the legislation to more than double Hamilton County's Hotel/Motel Tax.  This tax was backed by 2008 Tax Hiker of the Year Virgil Lovitt and signed into law by our great former Governor Bob Taft.

6.  A proud independent woman, Schmidt routinely violates our state's and nation's ethics laws, leading to her being named one of the country's most corrupt politicians. We completely believe Jean when she says she didn't know the $500,000 gift she received was illegal.  Do you know when your $500,000 gifts are legal?

7.  As one of the nation's most corrupt politicians, Schmidt enjoys strong support from disgraced, disbarred liberal Democrat Stan Chesley.

As you can see, Jean Schmidt is one of our best.  Whether it's raising taxes, bailing out billionaires, growing government, breaking ethics laws, or working with disgraced Stan Chesley, we can always count on Jean to do the right thing.  Her opponent, Brad Wenstrup, is a conservative who served his country in Iraq.  That's awful!  Clearly, we must send Jean Schmidt back to Congress so she can continue to break laws and raise taxes.
