Dear fellow tax hikers, Blue Ash's Sister City compatriots from Ilmenau, Germany are visiting us next week and we have all been invited to meet them! On Monday September 29th at 6:00 PM Blue Ash is hosting a public cookout to meet our German guests, and their Councilmen have personally asked us to help drive turnout.
The Blue Ash Sister City Program is extremely important to us. Our exclusive report on the $120,000 Blue Ash spent in just 5 years to send Blue Ash Councilmen and their friends on taxpayer-funded junkets to Germany brought lots of new readers to this site. And, we believe it's a fantastic program and great use of taxpayer funds.
We are greatly looking forward to this cookout. We just wish it was being held in the $75 million park.

Lots of hip and sophisticated Europeans. No west siders. Win win count me in.
This sounds like a great event for us.
You people are going to appreciate our expensive "Sister City" program whether you like it or not.
This kind of event is more proof that the Republican Party needs to broaden its base to attract more women, more minorities, more gays and more Hispanics.
Offended by the extremist carpetbagger who ran a dishonest campaign in the primary? Come on out with all of us and our friends in Springdale to show your support for Democrat Micah Kamrass. Let's show COAST and the Hamilton County GOP that they mess with us at their own peril.
I should be able to come to this. It's not like I have anything else to do except hang around with people who have no chance of winning their elections next month.
As I am the hardest-working campaigner in all of southern Ohio, with the greatest connections to the powerful people ever assembled, I will be there with bells on. Notice all of the Husted signs in Hamilton County? All the big Husted entries in all the parades? All the Husted lit drops? Yep. That's all the result of my hard work. I know how to get things done.
If I actually had a campaign operation in Southwest Ohio, I'd have my people out in full force. For some reason, the people don't like it when I kowtow to the leaders in Columbus and throw my staff under the bus.
Missed you guys at the big picnic held in your backyard this weekend.
The waft of wursts, the scintillating scent of schnitzel and the company of other folks of girth stirs something deep inside of me. As a failed business owner and current stock boy I represent Cincinnati's finest and very much look forward to eating an enormous amount of free food. As a safety measure and general warning, the disabled, elderly and young children are advised to clear away from any food station as my wife Flabby cannot distinguish between you and food items.
"Stockboy" Hochscheid.
Are the Germans who participate in Sister Cities as despised in their own town as I am in my own party?
I showed those meanies in the Republican Party who's boss by boycotting that picnic! That event couldn't have ever been run right without me around. I bet it was a total flop.
Poor Maggy, are you sad that you're not as hip as Europeans?
