Dear fellow tax hikers, yesterday we learned that Hamilton County taxpayers will soon have an opportunity to implement another stadium tax to renovate the privately-owned US Bank Arena! We love all tax hikes, but stadium taxes are the best. Our county has enjoyed tremendous success from the first Bedinghaus/Qualls Stadium Tax - so much success that we are now being told we need to spend $250 million on another stadium.
Leaders have said they will seek a "public-private partnership". This means the public will pay 99% of the expenses, while the private owners might be kind enough to put in the final 1% - if they feel like it.
We endorse this tax hike. The Bedinghaus-Qualls Stadium Tax has been an unrivaled success. We think another stadium tax would be delightful if it ensures another riverfront stadium as great as the first two.

This is a great idea!
Whatevs. Just don't build it on that hideous west side of Cincinnati.
This is yet another issue that will unify my party and split the Republicans. Again. Heads I win, and tails you lose, Alex.
Why dont you assholes go kill another lion and leave the rest of us alone?
Are stadiums as popular Downtown as I am in my own district? Chip will probably tell me I need to get on board and be a team player but until then Rick Bryan can go fuck himself.
Please make sure everyone in Blue Ash knows I am not related to that tax-hiking, horse thief Rick Bryan.
We don't need any more stadiums. We need taxpayer support for Zumba studios as badly as I need an actual campaign issue to run on.
With no races in the city of Cincinnati and nothing else to do before November of 2016, we at Republican Headquarters are putting all our marbles Into to our three REPUBLICAN trustees in Green as they face opposition from three political corpses.
