Rick Bryan and Jim Sumner defeated

Dear fellow tax hikers, what the hell just happened?  We thought tonight was going to be great.  Royal Doyle Webster was re-elected (for the 20th time) as he zooms in on Strom Thurmond's record in elected office.  And we were ready to raise some taxes and smoke dope.

Then we got smacked in the head with a piano falling from the sky.  We lost one of our greatest friends ever, Blue Ash Councilman Tax Hikin' Rick Bryan.  Even worse, his fellow mustache Jim Sumner was also defeated.  And we're just too hurt to say anything about the defeat of the Cincinnati Parks Tax.

How did Ricky and Jim lose to a couple newbies who barely campaigned?  We are so distraught by these defeats that we will be spending the rest of the night listening to the new Justin Bieber CD.  But if all you tax hikers need a safe space to comfort each other, please open up and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Who had the worst night - Alex TryinToFoolYou or Jared Kamrass?

As per usual, Alex lost another batch of seats to the Democrats, something that happens even in otherwise good GOP years. This time the GOP lost even in heavy GOP areas like Anderson Township and Colerain Township. In Blue Ash two alleged Republicans lost their seats, which means that independents now outnumber Republicans on Blue Ash City Council. The GOP took no position on Cranley's disastrous parks tax and had to suffer the indignity of watching liberals and COAST defeat a tax they were too scared to touch.

And let's not forget about our good friend Jared Kamrass who is quickly going down as one of the area's worst political operatives. For the third consecutive year he took over a campaign widely expect to win, that had unlimited amounts of money, and turned those assets into a landslide defeat. Councilman Greg Landsman in 2013, State Rep Micah Kamrass in 2014, and the Cincinnati Parks Tax that was guaranteed to pass in 2015. All 3 campaigns got their asses kicked.

So who had the worst night? The incompetent Party Chairman or the incompetent Campaign Mangler?

Jim and Rick should have used me and my expert campaign consultin' service. Look at the Huuuuuuge victory I delivered for my daddy. Attacking Colerain paid off in spades, not just for us but I also helped beat an evil conservative woman trustee and an evil conservative man on their school board. Great victories in the Webster house!

Alex delivered for us and he delivered for the judges so many of our people owe their jobs to.
Once again, we come out smelling like a rose and Colerain comes out smelling like a pile of garbage.

Tails the taxpayers lose. They may have beaten Jim and Rick but they didn't beat the parks. The beat goes on just like the streetcar and if these clowns that got elected think otherwise we will go all Alinsky on them and bring the wrath of the voters to the next council meeting.

We are finding it hard to believe Matheny took the high road and won an election. Those are two things we've never seen her do.

Guess who came in last place for Mayor of Evendale? Maybe all that time I spent trolling other candidates in other communities wasn't such a good idea. I wholeheartedly approved of Doyle's brutal attack on Colerain. That was freaking epic.

Damnit. That witch Heather Harlow would have been beatable after all. If only I hadn't been so blatantly stupid to make all those public records requests on government time on my government computer, I might have had enough leeway from the boss so that I could run and win and start collecting TWO public sector salaries and really pad the ol' pension. Now that Gavin and Emily are in the public records request business maybe they can join me on the government payroll.

This guy named Trent who claimed to be Insco's campaign manager nearly had me convinced to run for Colerain fiscal officer. Then at the last minute he disappeared off the face of the Earth.

April 2014 - Rick Bryan was prancing around all arrogant and smug, certain of his coronation to be the next State Representative.

November 2015 - Tricky Ricky defeated in his own heavily Republican Ward for re-election, against a guy with limited political skills named Pramod Jhaveri.

Such a long and hard fall.

After such epic failures of Republican incumbents in Colerain, Anderson, and Blue Ash, we should plan another puff piece on the political aspirations of the Great Micah Kamrass. He has to be thinking about a countywide spot now!

Election Fraudsters said...

Thank you Greg Insco for showing us the way to victory in the suburbs. Thank you Hamilton County GOP for telling us you're completely powerless to stop him.

We can't wait to try the fake Republican sample ballot on future non-partisan races across the Hamilton County suburbs.

It's a great way to get progressive tax hikers and others who couldn't get elected if those knuckle-dragging wing nuts knew who we really were and what we are really about.

Can you imagine how many tax hikes we can get for our schools and how many raises we can give to our friends in the union?

Long live Insco the magnificent!

Alex T the Hamilton County Republican Party Chairman of Green Township said...

You're right I won't say or do anything about Insco's scheme to trick Colerain voters or the lackluster campaigns our incumbents ran elsewhere. Just don't try that stuff in Green Township or try that trickery against our judges or then I'll go Medieval on your behinds.

Boy it sure makes me sad what has happened to our great community in Colerain. We really had something great going till the party became blinded by the almighty dollar and let people buy their way into office and let those who hadn't spent a lifetime in service to our great party cut the line ahead of those longtime loyal unsung foot soldiers. Unswerving devotion to a tyrant became the way to get ahead. It was really sad when we let that happen and I am not sure he party will ever find its way to right the ship of the mighty Colerain ever again. Look at what happened to great nations who were blinded by the appeal of inexperienced people able to manipulate the system and go straight to the top. It never ends well and I fear for the future of our great community, I mean, I could be talked into serving in elected office again. Just my way of saying thank you to a political party that I was ever loyal to.

Can you guys help me with something? It's been nearly a full week since my latest humiliating defeat and I still don't know who to blame. Any ideas?

Rick, you can do what every person I've ever defeated does. Get drunk and call all of your former supporters and berate them for not doing more to help you. Call Pat or Vikki if you need any further advice.

Cheers are in order for Inesco for pulling what some thought was a fast one, but I was confused when I read TryinToFoolYou's letter to Inesco dated the week before the elections about the well planned pink slip. Even more surprised at todays Ohio Elections commission meeting to see no claim filed by the HamCo GOP. This is great news to tax hikers and that's why Deters, Rinehart and Ritter decided to spring news of another 2% levy to fatten the kitty. Isn't it great they endorsed the school levy which passed. You know you have dedicated tax and spenders when Colerain trustees are asking for a levy beyond the cap allowed, now that takes balls. Now the real question is will Inesco submit to Deters and Ritter, or the other way around. Anyway someone should start selling tickets as each meeting will be a cage match.

Ricky Baby and his sidekick Jim should have seen this coming. First, his taxpayer funded vacation junkets come to light. Then he throws a hissy fit and endorses a Democrat after he lost the Republican primary. The Democrat loses and Ricky Baby then behind a public crusade against the sitting state legislator. How was any of this going to help him gain votes? No surprise then the guy he defeated narrowly 4 years ago before any of this came to light would be able to beat him this time.

If Rick is having trouble figuring out who to blame, then I guess there is a mirror shortage in the Bryan household.

We may be talking at a breakfast this week, but I will be eating Alex's lunch when I talk about all the incumbents I protected and the Republican ones who lost their seats on his watch. Again. Can't wait to discuss his bigoted campaign mailers that the voters rejected in droves. I mean I am not even fielding opposition and he is STILL losing seats in the suburbs.

Should have seen these GOP losses coming. A reluctant candidate who never said a word publicly except to storm off when challenged by the candidate and who ducked ALL public forums against the candidate. Two candidates with a lackluster record in their own communities who just alienated the base with their own personal sore-loser behavior. And finally an arrogant candidate who thought he was above the voters. Alex didn't lose these races in November. He lost them in June when these shitty candidates were given the green light while Alex partied it up and tried act so cool on social media.

Four incumbents lost and Alex spikes the damn football! Read it and weep for our county's future.

Friends,

It has now been almost two weeks since Election Day. These past two weeks have allowed us to identify our successes, reflect upon the results, and celebrate our victories. Historically, non-presidential election years are extremely kind to Republicans and this year was no different. Thanks to the countless hours of hard work from our candidates, their campaigns, and Republican activists, communities throughout Hamilton County will benefit from solid, conservative governance for years to come.

Here are a few of our victories from 2015:

Municipal Court District 4

Both Judge Josh Berkowitz and Judge Curt Kissinger were able to hold their seats on the Hamilton County Municipal Court. Our local party invests heavily in judicial races and these two races were no exception. Now, thanks to Judge Berkowitz and Judge Kissinger, administrative control of the Municipal Court will remain in the hands of Republican judges.

Green Township

Both Tony Rosiello and Triffon Callos were elected as Township Trustee, while Tom Straus was elected as the Township's Fiscal Officer. Green Township has consistently been a stronghold for Republicans and we're thrilled to see that it remains that way.

City of Norwood

Ken Crawford ran an excellent campaign for the Mayor of Norwood and enjoys a slight lead as of today. Norwood is Hamilton County's second largest municipality and has had an entrenched Democrat Mayor. If the results hold, Ken will be the new Republican mayor of Norwood.

City of Blue Ash

Both Lee Czerwonka and Tom Adamec were elected to City Council as Members At Large.
....

Columbia Township

First-time candidate Chris Kritikos was able to beat endorsed Democrat Carl Jones in his race for Township Trustee. Congratulations to fellow Greek, Chris Kritikos....

Delhi Township

Rose Stertz and Jim Luebbe were both elected as Township Trustee and Fiscal Officer, respectively.

City of Cheviot

Two of the three City Council seats will be held by Republicans due to Tuesday's results, as well as the office of Law Director.

Village of Greenhills

All three City Council seats were won by Republican candidates.

Although we had an excellent year, with numerous victories, we unfortunately experienced a few losses. We had a few incumbent candidates who, despite hard work and years of service to their communities, lost on Election Day.

To Mindy Rinehart, Russ Jackson, Jim Sumner, and Rick Bryan, thank you for all that you have done for the Hamilton County Republican Party and your constituents. The people of your respective jurisdictions will benefit from your leadership far into the future.

As I'm sure you've heard me say, a lot of Hamilton County's most livable communities are in the suburbs. These communities, overwhelmingly, are governed according to solid, conservative principles by solid, conservative officials...

But we can't rest on our laurels. 2016 is set to be one of the largest election cycles in the history of the county. We have 9 of 11 countywide seats up for election, 2 Congressional races, a Senate race, 2 Ohio Supreme Court Races, 9 Hamilton County judicial races, 1 State Senate race, and 7 State Representative races. We're going to need your help to make sure that Hamilton County, the ultimate swing county, is bright red in November of 2016.

To find out how to help our efforts, sign up for our emails by visiting our website at www.hamiltoncountyrepublicanparty.org. You can also follow us on social media by clicking on the Facebook and Twitter logos below.

Again, thank you all for supporting our Republican candidates and our local Party. With your help, we're going to make 2016 just as successful as 2015.
Sincerely,

Alex Triantafilou
Chairman, Hamilton County Republican Party
