Dear fellow tax hikers, one of this year's few pieces of good news comes from the City of Wyoming which recently raised its Income Tax by 25%! The lucky citizens of Wyoming now get to pay 1% of their income to the city instead of the paltry 0.8% they were paying. This is in addition to the 1.25% they pay to the Wyoming City Schools.
This excellent tax increase is needed for important programs.....such as giving away $713,000 subsidies to a single restaurant. When you're a City Councilman in a smallish bedroom community and feel like giving away more $700,000 subsidies to your closest friends, you need new revenues to make it happen.
We applaud Wyoming City Council for unanimously implementing this big tax hike. They will do great things with this money. In fact, we hear Mahogany's is looking for a new home.

Why no coverage of the FAILED attempt to impose an income tax in our trash-infested ghetto of Colerain Township???? Or, as the locals prefer to call it, Cocaine Township??? Hmmmm?
I'll drink to that.
Oh boy, oh boy!!! I hope it's a Kentacohut!
You have to understand that Tabby and I restaurant hop in the hopes of satisfying our insatiable appetites. Unfortunately, it's tedious work bringing restaurant after restaurant to its knees and, UHHH, the travel and unpredictable waiting times get in the way of our gorging.
At a Kentacohut we could eat at three restaurants AT THE SAME TIME!!! Make it a buffet and we're moving to Wyoming!
Our trash-infested neighbor to the north needs to do something to get some fine dining in our neighborhood.
Wyoming is one of the kewlest towns in the history of ever! Don't let any tacky restaurants go in and give those fat, smelly, disgusting, inbred west siders an excuse to pollute that great city with their mere presence.
When a nice town such as Wyoming has its residents vote a massive tax increase in order to support local business, it just goes to show that the Republican Party needs to become the pro-gay, pro-minority, pro-abortion, pro-amnesty party in order to truly become the majority party. Screw the conservatives. We don't need them and they have no place else to go.
I bet the Wicked Witch of Wyoming is behind this. I cleaned her clock in 2010, the closest thing to a victory me and my expert campaign consultin' service have had to a victory the past few years.
Can't wait until our Dream Boy Micah Kamrass gets elected somewhere and we can go drool over all his votes to raise taxes.
I might have had something to say about this, but my good friend Tim Burke might call me a racist and sexist so I will keep my mouth shut. Gotta run. Time to wash my good friend Tim Burke's car.
I can't use my real name because I am retired from a very important position at the very highest levels of the government of this great State of Ohio. Folks, it's not even up for debate anymore. The voters have spoken and the Republicans have won. It's time for our leaders to deliver the same sort of Ronald Reagan like, dedicated conservative leadership that people like Jon Husted have been delivering for years.
I bet a now-FORMER Wyoming City Council member, rejected by those who know her best, is jealous that she wasn't able to impose this massive tax hike. She's spent the past four years in a bitter, drunken stupor, calling people and yelling at them for not doing more to help her. Same thing happened to the lady I beat in my first race for Sycamore Trustee. The more things change...
I would prefer an all-you-can-eat buffet, but any new restaurant is a good thing! Me and Micah would like to have reservations for the grand opening.
Republicans in Columbus and Washingitin have sold us all down the river with their craven expensive giveaway bills that do nothing for the average American or Ohioan. Thry killed the heartbeat bill, refused to advance a bill that would get rid if Common core and gave Obama everything he wanted in Obamacare and Amnesty. Keep obsessing over a suburban restaurant. It shows just how small you really are.
If you check the record that former Councilman actually opposed the DiStasi giveaway package. I don't know what the rest of them were thinking. A $700k subsidy to recruit 25 restaurant jobs is a tragic waste of taxpayer money. It's no wonder Wyoming ran out of money
Me like resteronts. Kan Deer Park City Council give out tacks money so we can get an Arby's in town?
