April 15th - the best day of the year

Dear fellow tax hikers, today is Tax Day - our favorite day of the year!  We will be up for all 24 hours because we don't want to miss a moment of this year's greatest day.

To help celebrate this most blessed day, tell us: what are your favorite taxes?  We encourage you to set aside some time and think about all the great taxes you are charged - income taxes, sales taxes, property taxes, gas taxes, cell phone taxes, the Spanish-American War Tax, capital gains taxes, death taxes, real estate transfer taxes.  Spend some time today to honor them all.

I love all the amazing taxes that allow us to build a $75 million park and pay for my taxpayer-subsidized vacations to Germany.

We don't like any taxes at all, except the ones that pay our salaries, but we hope some tax dollars can be found to clean up that trash-infested ghetto to our north.

My favorite tax is definitely the Sales Tax. It has defined my life. And provided great job security (thanks Mike!)

Thank you, Colerain taxpayers, for overpaying for our mediocre job of providing police services when could save yourself tons of money by contracting with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

We love them all equally, except for the food, alcohol, and tobacco taxes.

My favorite taxes are the ones that you have to pay and I don't.

When you come from the right family and only let the right people marry into yours and the old man hands you a legislative seat as though it were a peerage in the House of Lords, no day ever feels like April 15 because you're always getting more from the government than you're paying in.

April 15 is a great time to remind everyone that I oppose the streetcar. That's about the only campaign issue I will raise as I move across town to run for the state senate when Seitz is term limited. My opponents will also oppose the streetcar but I've got to find a campaign issue to run on. Mans got to pay some bills you know,

Are tangible personal property tax cut restorations as popular with our schools as I am in my own district? Doing my part to mitigate the damage done by Bob Taft's tax policies.

PS, fuck you Rick Bryan!

We must embrace massive tax hikes if we are ever going to be a majority ever again. Let's start outbidding the Democrats to get the votes of illegal aliens who want to have abortions.
