Smith

Dear fellow tax hikers, some guy named Smith is running for Congress against our enemy Brad Wenstrup.  We have never seen Smith, we know nothing about him, we wouldn't know it was him if he bumped into us, and we have no idea what he thinks about anything.

Therefore, we give our enthusiastic endorsement to William Smith for Congress.  Smith is running against the evil conservative military man Brad Wenstrup, and that is enough for us to endorse him.

Col. Wenstrup had no right to run for Congress against our good friend Jean Schmidt.  He certainly had no right to win.  Wenstrup must be stopped.  Just because he served our country in Iraq doesn't mean he knows anything about service.

We know you don't know anything about Smith.  We don't know anything about Smith.  In fact, Democratic leaders don't know anything about Smith.  But we expect you all to vote for him.  Some Guy Named Smith for Congress!

One year ago this month I donated to my great Congresswoman Jean Schmidt because I wanted to avoid the terrible choices we have today in this race. I've got to vote for one of these two jokers? I'm not happy about it. Maybe I'll be the Establishment Republican to challenge Wenstrup in 2014.

If we had free and fair elections in this country, Smith could beat Wenstrup. We do not, since Republican corporations' machines count the votes and are overseen by their wholly-owned Republican politicians like John Husted in Ohio is. We've also got a Republican Governor and a Republican legislature engaged in racial fear-mongering to make it impossible for the poor, racial minorities and non-native citizens to vote in this country. When only wealthy white people are allowed to vote, Republicans will win each and every time. The GOP is no longer an organized political party. They are an organized crime family pretending to be a political party with all of the corporate media outlets aiding and abetting their destruction of American government and middle-class society.

Smith is pretty close to Schmidt. Can we be sure that they're not in fact the same person? I believe Smith is a man, and I can't say with any certainty that Jean isn't as well.

Don't fool yourself. The Hamilton County GOP is a hollow shell of an organization that only exists because they have co-opted the local Tea Parties into doing all the work while the cronies down on Walnut Street take all the credit. One of the days the curtain will be pulled down and all you find is a misguided turn-coat democrat, a shoe shopping "it's just a job to me" so-called finance director, and a former judge who can no longer pass out favors.

I forgot to add that one of the best parts about working so hard to raise money for great candidates like Brad Wemstrip is that I never, ever, ever, have to deal with any of those smelly, inbred, disgusting West Siders at his campaign fund-raisers. Working for a great candidate like Brad means spending time among the beautiful people of Indian Hill, Hyde Park, Montgomery, Loveland, Madeira, Sycamore Township (love ya Tommy),Symmes Township (love ya too Jodie), Anderson Township, and my all-time favorite place on the planet, Kenwood.

I can remember when the Republican Party was an unbeatable monolith in Hamilton County. Then, the COAST Crazies took over and the right-wing Jesus Freak Platformers ran everyone else off who didn't agree in lock-step with their 1950s social agenda and their 1850s economic agenda. Made our job so much easier.

Enjoy your irrelevancy after November 6th. Starting November 7th, you guys will have as much credibility and relevance as the Flat Earth Society, which is where most of the GOP's ideas stem from.

Despite the endorsement of our opponent by this blog, Brad is well on his way to winning this seat. He will become Congressman For Life and I will be his Yes Man With a Six-Figure Salary For Life, or at least until Brad gets a position in the Romney administration and I will be his choice to succeed him in Congress. I will have the last laugh on all you pathetic COAST losers.

Are you guys gonna endorse Cincy issue 4? A great opportunity to keep our tax-loving council men and women in office longer!

Good idea anonymous!

We hereby endorse Issue 4. This wonderful idea represents a fantastic way to keep the voters on the sidelines and give our fantastic Council greater opportunity to pursue unpopular ideas with the idea that voters will have forgotten about them by the next election. Yes on 4!

Are you ignorant right-wing, anti-public school greedy ingrates going to support the children, schools, and community in the Northwest district?
