The worst part about this is that Cranley picked a black man as his City Manager. There were so many white urban hipster pro-streetcar candidates available too! How disgusting.
As a councilperson, and a very gay one at that, I am appalled, appalled, at the ruthless tactics of this new council in trying to stop our beloved streetcar. These shameless legislative tactics will not stand.
When we passed all those 11th hour poison-pill ordinances they were supposed to tie the hands of this new council fair & square. Roxanne and Mark gave us their word they would do just that! Grrrrr.
How dare this newly elected group try to undue what a a duly elected lame-duck council, in its last few hours, ordained?
I hope no one remembers how much support I've given the streetcar during my time on Blue Ash City Council. That would be hard to explain to a Republican primary electorate completely in the suburbs. Just got to keep this secret for another five months and I'll be home free.
If I keep tweeting about how great John Cranley is, will that make people forget I never bothered to try and field a Republican candidate for mayor, nor did we try to field a council majority?

If my '84 Audi 5000 weren't still in the shop I would personally go down there to that streetcar hearing and throw my weight around.
Someone should ask Mike Moroski what his "good friend" Rusty Nail has been up to since the election.

Oh, did I mention I am a very gay councilperson?
