53 more felony indictments for Pete Beck

Dear fellow tax hikers, State Representative Peter Beck has been indicted on 53 more felonies.  Including the 16 prior counts, Beck is now the proud owner of 69 felony indictments.

For those keeping score at home, that's 60 more felony charges than Judge Tracie Hunter.  We are unsure if "Bishop" Bobby Hilton will be shilling for Beck like he has for Hunter, but regardless we believe these charges are politically-motivated.

This is part of an organized conservative conspiracy to push aside older, obedient, white men from office in favor of younger Republicans.  These indictments are a clear attempt to hurt the Rick Bryan for State Representative campaign.  By impugning Beck, they are trying to send a message that older, obedient, white Republican men cannot be trusted.

Beck has fought through adversity before and he'll get through this.  Before being selected to the Statehouse, Beck ran for Warren County Commissioner and lost.  He would have won that race had his campaign not been so badly mismanaged.  But he rallied back.  He found some competent campaign management and has served us proudly in the Statehouse ever since.  We stand with Beck.

I can't wait to go to Warren County for some nice dinners to raise money for his legal defense fund. There, I will be around the very pleasant and very successful people I was raised to surround myself with. DEFINITELY no fat, smelly, disgusting, inbred west siders to deal with there!!!

If Representative Beck were a female, a minority, a Democrat, or a gay man who had the courage to come out of the closet amid the Tea Party culture of hatred, we would be falling all over ourselves to defend him. But he is a straight white Republican male, so we will do everything in our power to remind everyone that a) he is a Republican b) he is a hypocrite c) he is a Republican d) he is most definitely guilty and e) he is a Republican.

I've known Pete a long time, so I'd have let it slide.

We heard that Pete was planning to make a gigantic campaign contribution to that Tea Party whack job running against the only true electable conservative in the 28th house district. That rumor will spread like wilfdfire among our loyalists and will deliver yet another crushing blow to the unelectable nut who should just get out if this race before we make it even uglier for him, all in the name if Republican unity, of course.

Peter Beck initially became a State Representative by being SELECTED by the Ohio House Republican Caucus. You boys sure did good!

If you can't be born with the right name, then politics is not the place for you.

Pete, at this point you might as well go to the casino and find yourself a nice hooker. Enjoy life while you can.

THE AWFUL DECISION BY MY SENATE COLLEAGUES TO SELECT SHANNON JONES TO SUCCEED MY GOOD FRIEND BOB SCHULER (MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE) WAS A BAD ONE. MICHELLE SCHNEIDER WAS A GOOD TAX HIKER WHO DID WHAT SHE WAS TOLD TO DO BY HER BETTERS IN COLUMBUS. SHANNON JONES LED THE IDIOTIC SENATE BILL 5 CAMPAIGN. WHEN SHANNON LEFT THE HOUSE TO GO TO THE SENATE, THE HOUSE REPUBLICANS CHOSE PETE BECK. SO THIS IS JUST ANOTHER CONSEQUENCE OF THE DUMB DECISION MADE BY MY SENATE COLLEAGUES. YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW.

Guys like this need to get out of their positions so we can get people in there who will modernize the Republican Party. Forget all this conservative crap. We need to be the party of higher taxes and higher spending. We need to be the party that forces other people to give their money to the government to spend on things like birth control and streetcars. We need to be the party that puts gay people and Hollywood perverts on a pedestal while shoving all those bothersome Bible thumpers and Tea Partiers out of the way. Then and only then will the Republican Party achieve any electoral success.
