No doubt it's doubling the Hotel Tax!!!! I sponsored that bill into law! That was one of Bob Taft's tax increases, and you know I supported all of them!
I'm Jean Schmidt, and I approve this tax increase. Because we all know, I can spend your money better than you.
Rather, let's talk about the economic development Mayor Lovitt has helped foster in the 28th district. Or, let's talk about how Mayor Lovitt helped save the Ford plant and all those UAW jobs.
And that's just a portion of it.

Or

Good point Eugune. We did a post a couple months ago applauding Mayor Lovitt for the explosion of prostitution jobs in Sharonville. Those are good, high-paying jobs. Unemployed young women know, they can sell their bodies in Sharonville at its many cheap motels and make a good living doing it. Our man Virg made it happen!

Tyrone, we are with you. No doubt, COAST shouldn't be allowed to work with ANYONE to get things done. We're the only group who should be allowed to work with others.
We agree with you on the issues too. We need red light cameras. We need them everywhere. They would raise so much money for the government and everything we do would be on tape.
And we have posted many times about the need for the Portune/Pepper/Leis/Lovitt Sales Tax plan to go through. This would have spent $800 million for a $200 million jail and many other things. We applaud Mayor Lovitt for standing with us on this necessary tax increase. Red Light cameras and Jail Taxes are the kind of government we pro-tax Republicans believe in. Vote Virg Lovitt!
Without a doubt its his endorsement of the Super Size Sales Tax. It was great to see Virg "in bed" with Todd Portune, David Pepper, Mark Dann, The Hamilton County Democratic Party, 5 former presidents of the NAACP, big labor, Dusty Rhodes, Roxanne Qualls, and O'Dell Owens.
Nevermind the fact that the crime rate has continued to decline over the past year, in direct contradiction of Virg and his cronies threats of a massive crime wave.
Nevermind that we all know that the LAST thing needed in a very difficult economy is higher tax rates.
Virgil Lovitt truly believes that we NEED higher taxes. That's why he held hands with Democrats and tax hikers across the County to support the Super Sized Sales Tax.
Seriously, if you want someone who will bow at the alter of ultra-liberalism every time an answer is needed to a tough problem - Vote for Virgil Lovitt.

Picking a favorite tax increase is like asking a fat person to pick their favorite dessert. They're all great. As you know, I've led the way to raise taxes, all kinds of taxes. Virg has the potential to be as great a tax-hiker as I am.
My favorite Lovitt tax increase was his sold support of Todd Portune's jail tax. No wonder Todd proudly lists Lovitt's endorsement on his web site.
It's when he publicly endorsed my Sales Tax hike so we can build the new Simon Leis Taj Mahal Jail. I'll never forgive those sonsofbithces who voted down my lavish jail. Damn ingrates! I am the law damnit!
I also endorsed the jail tax. Virg Lovitt is da man!

Your type do not have intellect to engage us on the issues. You have no ability to explain to us why your candidates are better tax hikers than ours, so you resort to the tactic of personal attacks. That is ok, we on the pro-tax side can take it.
In case we are wrong, we leave you with this challenge - explain to us how Connie Pillich is a better tax increaser than Virgil Lovitt. We await your answer.....
Old Virg didn't get awarded "Tax Hiker of the Year" for sitting on his hands. Maybe next year State Representative Pillach can personally present him with another award, should he win it again.
