Jennifer Triantafilou for Ohio Supreme Court

Dear fellow tax hikers, there will soon be a vacancy on the Ohio Supreme Court and our beloved Chairman Alex Triantafilou will be on the committee helping Governor John Kasich decide on the appointed replacement.  We already have our chosen candidate.

We endorse Jennifer Triantafilou to be the next Ohio Supreme Court Justice.  Mrs. Triantafilou is extremely well-qualified for this position.  We now present her qualifications:

- High School graduate.
- Works as a secretary.....we mean administrative assistant.
- Married to Alex Triantafilou. <-------- Over here, it's this one!

Tracy Winkler saw these same attributes in her as we did when she chose Jennifer for a taxpayer-funded Green Township job where she did not meet minimum professional qualifications.  As Tracy herself knows, professional qualifications do not apply when you marry into the right family.

If Mrs. Triantafilou does not get this appointment, we hope it goes to a member of the Russo or Dimora families in Cuyahoga County.  Even though many of them are in jail, or soon will be, they are one of the top royal families in this state and that entitles them to special considerations not available to the rest of us.  Governor Kasich can earn back some of the respect he has lost from us by appointing someone from a well-connected family rather than an individual with impressive professional qualifications.

Oh boy! I can't wait to file a thousand public information requests to uncover all the secrets.

It's a good thing I have a boss who gives me so much flexibility that I can spend so much time making public records requests, reading the public information, and then making stuff up about what's in the public records to everyone in town and especially my friends at Rumpke.

Oh, this is Green Township, not Colerain. Never mind.

Alex, give me a call, I'll be glad to help you with my expert Campaign Consultin Service. I am so thrilled that you finally "get it" and will be trying to advance a woman to a higher position. You go boy!

I believe I should be chosen, given the shortage of obese women on the Court.

OMG will I be so F-ing PO'd if Alex passes me over AGAIN this time. I can't stand this pig as our chairman, even if he keeps endorsing me for city council and judge.

I hope Alex has a big party honoring all the people under consideration for this prestigious appointment and I get to go out and buy a new dress and new high heel shoes for the special occasion. It's so much fun being a political professional. We work so hard you wouldn't ever understand all the work we do. Somehow, we manage to work hard without getting smelly and sweaty like all those icky west siders do though.

I THINK OUR CHAIRMAN ALEX TRIANTAFILOU WILL DO AN OUTSTANDING JOB SELECTING A CANDIDATE FOR THE SUPREME COURT. LOOK AT ALL OF THE GREAT PEOPLE HE HAS SELECTED FOR OPEN SEATS JUST RIGHT HERE IN HAMILTON COUNTY. PEOPLE LIKE MY GOOD FRIEND SEAN DONOVAN. PEOPLE LIKE MY GOOD FRIEND TRACY WINKLER AND TONY ROSIELLO. HE MADE SURE THE PARTY BACKED BOB MECKLENBORG RIGHT UP UNTIL BOB'S PENCHANT FOR DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED CAUGHT UP WITH HIM IN A BIG WAY. WHAT A SHAME. BOB SHOULD HAVE CALLED ME FOR A RIDE HOME THAT NIGHT. ALEX ALSO CHOSE SOME GREAT CINCINNATI CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATES LIKE WAYNE LIPPERT, AMY MURRAY, AND WHOEVER IN THE HECK ELSE WE HAD LAST YEAR.
DOES THIS GUY KNOW HOW TO PICK EM OR WHAT?

I doubt the job will be going to Tabitha Hochscheid. It's too bad she couldn't marry someone who can hold a job, or else she could afford to move out of her crappy Covedale condo and live somewhere nice (and with a bigger kitchen).

Victory is in sight, and so is my taxpayer-funded, six-figure salary and generous benefits package when Brad is finally crowned Congressman For Life! Thanks, Alex!

Thanks Alex for your overwhelming support of my candidacy despite that little incident in the park

THanks so much for getting me the City Council endorsement, even if I did a total face-palm in the election. Kind of like the Bengals did at all the games you used to take me to.

This has been a fun year. As a candidate for state political office, my calendar is always full.

I get to rub shoulders with some of the leading lights of the Republican Party, get my photo taken and my hand shaken, while I await the inevitable arse-kicking the awaits anyone running as a Republican in a district where the GOP averages 32%.

But because I took one for the team as a sacrificial lamb, I will be rewarded for my faithful service and devotion to duty with a state appointment or a higher political office, right? Yeah, I almost believe that, too.

Thanks for the memories, Alex. My scrapbook is filled now.

After years of loyal and faithful service as The Greatest Republican Who Ever Lived and after sacrificing my own plans for the greater good of the GOP more times than I care to recount to anyone (oh, come on, you know if we were talking in person, I most certainly would recount the stories, time and time again), Alex T made some special arrangements for me to have a very high-ranking position in the government of our great state, entrusting me with overseeing the people who oversee the people who administer the most sacred right we have in this great Republic of ours. Because I have a position of such enormous magnitude, I can't use my name on this blog.

On the rare occasion Alex T finds someone capable and qualified for public office, he leaves them hanging out to dry steering all the money to save his buddies in the courthouse in the other offices.

dang, too bad I just signed that contract extension, I'm sure Alex could find a nice job for me that I'm not qualified for.

Oh. Never mind.

Unlike in Hamilton County, Alex isn't in charge of this. (Leaving aside for a moment that Alex isn't even in charge in Hamilton County. He just does what Hartmann, Deters, Gerhardt and Vincent tell him to do.) He is just serving on a committee, which means his input and influence will be next to nil.

This is the old-time, RINO Bob Bennett faction back in power. So what that means is that they will find the least conservative person willing to call him or herself a Republican in all of Northeastern Ohio. If you haven't lived in Cleveland or Youngstown, don't even bother to apply.
