Post-primary roundup

Dear fellow tax hikers, one year after the catastrophic defeat of Tax Hikin' Rick Bryan, Tuesday's primary election was another tough day for those of us in the tax hiking movement.

Our endorsed candidate for Norwood Mayor Chuck Russ took it on the chin, achieving only 28% of the vote in a landslide defeat to that awful Ken Crawford.  This represents another setback to our efforts to rebuild the ranks of the mighty tax-and-spend Republicans.

Sadly, the citizens of the Lockland School District will not have to give more of their money to the government.  Their 11.2 mill levy went down in defeat despite our backing.  These property owners will have no idea how to handle the excess money that they should not be allowed to keep.

It's pretty bad for us when the only bright spot of the night was a levy defeat.  We urged Northwest Schools residents to defeat their levy because the School Board wanted to cut the millage being collected.  By voting for this levy those residents would be consenting to having their taxes lowered and we would not stand for that.  Thankfully this levy narrowly failed.  Now we will have to get a bigger one on the ballot in November to give Northwesters the tax hike they richly deserve.

Building three schools in that trash-infested ghetto was a lousy idea.

Got to love that Ricky Baby and his tax-hiking comrades in Blue Ash were UNOPPOSED in the REPUBLICAN PRIMARY and are unopposed in the general. Guten tag!

Ah, but Mustache Rick does have an opponent. Drink's up Ricky Baby!

Well, I'm glad that's over! Too bad the NWLSD levy went down, but the silver lining is that I now have two free hands to attack Republicans! Granted, one hand will be down my pants and one monitor devoted to porn, but the other will be endlessly posting about the criminal trustees, the JEDZ failure, the glory of Insco, and rocks that have moved.

Hate is a disease, of which I suffer greatly. Luckily, it helps me to ignore my failures and shortcomings, and focus on what really counts: smearing Republicans with my fake FB account.

One of the best takedowns ever, even if it is taking down a figment of simeoene's inagination. There seems to be an awful lot of bitterness and anger in Colerain. The stench from the landfill must be making people crazy.

You know, the Greeks invented low-turnout elections.

If it looks like I've been putting in some weight, it's from eating Alex's lunch every time we make a joint appearance, Channel 19, UC, First Friday, Western Economic Council, Rotary Club, makes no difference.

We got it Tim, you have a smarter political mind than Mall Cop Alex. So do most people. That's why any race run out of GOP Headquarters is a potential Democratic pickup, while the few Republican pickups (Monzel, Dever) won by doing their own thing.

Deceptive Dan Unger said...

I wonder how many people still think I am some kind of principled conservative after I tried to sneak that 37-year tax hike past the voters in a low turnout election. Those White Oak folk are pretty easy to fool. I mean, they think they live in a great community even with all the Section 8 moving in.

Dint forget the awesome work we did on the Mezher, Miller and Haines campaigns.

Those so-called conservatives on northwest local have a lot of egg on their face now don't they?

Northwest Conservative said...

But Dan Unger keeps telling us he was the only one to vote against it. Every news article says it was a 5-0 vote but we know that the newspapers lie all the time. There is no way a principled conservative like Dan Unger would ever vote to put a secret $87,000,000 tax increase on a ballot.

Secret Levies said...

I hope Unger and his fake conservative cronies try to put another secret levy on the ballot in August.

When you come from the right family, and you only let the right people marry into yours, and the old man hands you a Legislative seat as though it were a peerage in the House of Lords, matters such as these are entirely trivial and discretionary. Those clowns in Northwest might think they have a chance of ascending to the throne, but in reality Colerain Township is Serf City.

I love all these levies we have in this state with 600 school districts, 900 villages, 1300 townships, and more park boards, water and sewer boards, planning commissions, port authorities, career training centers, community colleges, sanitation districts, historical preservation districts, transportation improvement districts, 11 country offices and five types of local judges for each county and so much more government than any other state. If you can't get a government job in Ohio, you must be unable to pass a drug test or have any sort of social interactive skills.

Republican Headquarters said...

The failure of these school levies and the trouncing of the high-tax candidate in Norwood means we in the Republican Party need to support candidates who want to raise taxes and increase wasteful government spending, even though We say the complete opposite in public.

Walt From White Oak said...

Mr. Unger needs to make it clear that the Section 8 problem in White Oak is really a problem for COLERAIN TOWNSHIP. We have kept Section 8 out of Green Township thanks to our hard work with the Green Township police and the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. That's the kind of cooperation you never see in that trash infested ghetto to our north.

It's too bad we don't have a primary here in Cincinnati. I can't believe I missed a chance to campaign and to talk about the streetcar.

I can't use my name because I am retired from a very important position at the very highest levels of the government of the great state of Ohio. Folks, it's really sad what happens when we let individuals into the Republican Party who put themselves ahead of the party. Now if you are as great a Republican as I ask myself, you will know exactly what I mean. This primary election was a disappointment for a number of people but when the great Jon Husted is the chief elections officer in our great state we can sleep well at night knowing the election will be conducted honestly and fairly.

Come on guys help me out here I need something else to get some attention. How much more publicity can I get for accusing the trustees of moving a rock in 2012 in retaliation for my campaign against them in 2013? Jennie did a great job with the story but we are going to need so much more than that to keep it going. There is only so much axing one person can do even when the person is as amazing as me.

I am sure we have some aspiring tax-hikers among our wealthy, preppy ass-kissers who py $500 per year to get patted on our heads by
Alex and Maggie as the good little lapdogs we truly are. Thank heavens we put those Blue Chip drunks out of business.

We applaud those Colerain tax hikers for their massive police tax hike last year. It was an awesome thing to behold. It's too bad the wannabes on the Northwest Board of Ed couldn't get the job done. What that plce needs is more tax dollars and it's pretty clear that if you go over there that the Residents have too much money to spend on themselves and their families.

State Representative Jonathan Dever said...

Are special elections as popular in Northwest Schools as I am in my own district? The answer is yes because it passed in the part of the school district that's in the House district which I am representing in Columbus and that smarmy little fucker Rick Brysn is not.

Paying $75 for a dried-out chicken medallion smaller than a deck of cards, to celebrate the awesome election cycle where we managed to give Democrats two seats despite the most favorable terms for Republicans in the past 70 years. Awesome! Great to see Rick Brino and the Blue Ass RINOS who if they had their way we would have lost even more.
