Jail Tax supporter's law license suspended

Dear fellow tax hikers, we are disgusted to learn that former Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann's law license has been suspended for 6 months.  This unanimous decision by The Ohio Supreme Court followed Dann's criminal convictions for soliciting improper compensation and filing a false financial disclosure.

We are big fans of Marc Dann.  When we were fighting to raise Hamilton County's Sales Tax in 2007, Dann was the highest-level elected official to endorse this plan.  Attorney General Dann stood shoulder-to-shoulder with other tax hikers such as Simon Leis, Sean Donovan, David Pepper, Tax Hikin' Rick Bryan, and Roxanne Qualls to urge the voters to support this excellent tax increase.

So what if he's been convicted of some crimes?  So was the great Bob Taft.  And Jean Schmidt also filed false forms and illegally took over $500,000 in gifts from Turkish interests, and she didn't lose our support.  Mr. Dann is being targeted by The Man for his strong pro-tax views.  We believe the voters and the criminal justice system should stop worrying about the criminal behavior of Marc Dann, Bob Taft, and Jean Schmidt and instead respect all of the tax increases they have given us.

I remember Marc Dan during those glorious jail tax days when our party was championing high taxes. He was leering at all the women, plus he was really overweight and was kinda sweaty and smelly. I thought for sure he was a West Sider and then I learned he was from Youngstown and then it all made sense.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Hey Blue Chippers,

I'll never forget standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Democrats like Marc Dann, David Pepper, and so many other great people during the public safety plan debate.

And remember when we attacked Republicans like Chris Monzel who didn't want to spend tax dollars on all those wonderful programs which people like Jim Tarbell loved to support?

Good times.

I've always cherished those memories from my days as the President of a Republican organization. Now I've moved on to bigger and better things in Madeira. So glad to have left those cretins on the West Side behind.

There's no telling what the future might hold for me. ;)

That reminds me, I need to call Marc and compare nots with him about how not to get caught in a park when I'm in Columbus.

I WANT THE WORLD TO REMEMBER THAT I ALSO STOOD SHOULDER TO SHOULDER WITH MARC DANN AND DAVID PEPPER AND SO MANY OTHERS TO SUPPORT THE HALF-PENNY SALES TAX THAT WOULD HAVE, COULD HAVE, AND SHOULD HAVE BUILT US THE JAIL THAT OUR GREAT SHERIFF SIMON LEIS BELIEVES WE NEEDED THEN AND CERTAINLY STILL NEED NOW MORE THAN EVER.

I ALSO WANT THE WORLD TO REMEMBER THAT I STOOD SHOULDER TO SHOULDER WITH DAVID PEPPER AND TED STRICKLAND TO STAND TALL AGAINST JOHN KASICH AND HIS IDIOTIC ATTEMPT TO SCREW OVER ALL THOSE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES ACROSS THE GREAT STATE OF OHIO.

I ALSO STOOD SHOULDER TO SHOULDER WITH BOB TAFT TO SUPPORT EACH AND EVERY ONE OF HIS TAX INCREASES.

IT'S AMAZING WHAT YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH WHEN YOU TALK LIKE SEAN HANNITY BUT VOTE LIKE RACHEL MADDOW.

If a bar suspended us for six whole months, we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves!

Some of my best work ever, from 2008. It's too bad the Democrats were more interested in kissing up to the GOP instead of kicking it out then:

It's refreshing to see a man and a woman have an affair. If this was a Repugnicant, he would have had an affair with a little boy or a farm animal.

Marc Dann should stay in office for as long as Foot-Tapper Larry Craig and Diaper Dave Vitter remain in power.

At least Dann doesn't go around pretending to be some sort of moral exemplar of virtue, like Craig, Vitter, and so many other Repugnicants do.

The Repugnicant motto: do as we say, not as we do.

Marc Dann should use this as payback time.

Go after the corrupt Repugs in Butler County (Dynus)

Go after the corrupt Repugs in Clermont County (Walker)

Go after all the moralizing reporters, like none of them have ever banged a subordinate.

Go after the corrupt Repugs in Warren County

Go after the corrupt Repugs from Ashtabula to Zanesville, from Archbold to Ironton, and everywhere in between.

Hoist them on their own moralizing petards.

Go after the corporations, the price-gouging oil companies.

Show everyone what a fighter you are, Marc. This is why we elected you. Remind everyone what sort of corrupt morass you inherited after 16 years of Repugnicants plundering the state government and Treasury.

YOU are the reason Tom Noe is in jail and not wining and dining Governor Blackwell tonight.

YOU are the reason AOL and Time Warner aren't ripping the public off anymore.

YOU are the reason our state retirement system is much closer to solvency than it was when Tom Noe and other corrupt Repugs were buying coins and Beanie Babies with public retirement funds.

You've got some top-notch people at your disposal. Now is the time to put an end to all this moralistic snooping into your personal life and go on offense.

Show the guts, the heart, and the spine you showed in the Senate, and you'll get 70% of the vote next time.

It's time to not just defeat the Repugs at the ballot box, but also in the Courthouse.

Every single person in Ohio who chooses to affiliate themselves with the Criminal Enterprise Formerly Known As The Republican Party bears some degree of knowledge of, or responsibility for, their damaging policies and their criminal practices in office.

It's time to shut them down.

You haven't broken any laws, Mr. Dann, but a truckload of Repugnicants from one end of this state to the other have.

Investigate, indict, imprision. That's your job. Your job is not to answer questions from sex-starved moralists getting their jollies off asking you about your personal life.

If Mark Dann had served out his full term, wonder what would have become of that big stinking pile of garbage in Colerain Township?
