Dear fellow tax hikers, get ready to send more money to Mike Brown and the Cincinnati Bengals! Mikey needs new carpeting. And according to WCPO, you're going to pay for it.
This new carpeting will cost Hamilton County taxpayers a cool $1 million. We endorse this expenditure and believe it's worth every cent. We can't think of a better way to spend $1 million of tax money than to provide Mr. Brown new carpeting.
This opportunity is possible because of the great work done by Bob Bedinghaus and Roxanne Qualls to sell the public on the benefits of taxpayer-funded stadiums. If it was not for those two fine leaders, Mike Brown would have to pay for his own carpet and we wouldn't want that.

That's a great idea! Maybe we can send Mike Brown a delicious cake too!
We would much rather spin fairy tales about Obama's Agenda 21 (which is just a collection of liberal goals and dreams that have been around since before Obama was born) and the Obama Administration's Common Core (that was somehow adopted by the states a couple years before Obama's election) than talk about an actual abuse of taxpayer dollars, since this was a deal agreed to by Republicans.
I knew what I was doing when I appeared on those tv ads urging voters to support the stadiums. Soon I will be known as the politician who delivered the stadiums AND the streetcar!
I thought Qualls only munched on carpet.
What's the problem here? Mike Brown is a Republican, so this must be a good idea. Right Boss Alex?
I'll drink to that!
My mostly-empty office complex that I manage has some surplus carpet. We could make Mr. Brown a good deal.
