Earlier this year Kamrass happily took $500 from Chesley. Kamrass is no more concerned than we are about Chesley's status as a disbarred lawyer, or the $25 million he owes to help make whole those he helped defraud. Kamrass could do something silly like return that money - or give it Chesley's victims - but he needs those dollars to fight the evil limited government Republicans.
Chesley may have lost his right to influence a courtroom, but he should never lose his influence over our government. Strangely, Chesley seems to have lost numerous political allies since his disbarment. We are delighted that Chesley will be able to mentor and influence future State Representative and future attorney Micah Kamrass (when he passes the bar). We need Kamrass in Columbus - and $tan Chelsey needs him even more.

I miss my days as aNew York City Democrat operative when I got to hang around people like Stan Chesley all the time. Maybe I can sneak out of the office early and go hang out with the Kamrass campaign people. I always get a little nostalgic for campaign work this time of year.
Now that my opponent is starting to spend some money and is delivering a substantive message to voters' homes, I wonder if perhaps I should have done some more to raise some money and develop a coherent message that *I* could drive home as well. but it sure has been fun going around to visit people and put up yard signs on lonely roads in Warren County.
Don't worry Micah, your secret is safe with me. as always.
it's shocking to me that anyone would take Chesley's money knowing what he did to those poor people. Shame on Micah Kamrass.
Micah Kamrass can take a million dollars from Satan himself and still win this race. The reason? His opponent is a mean, nasty, divisive individual who actually turns off the people he meets during campaigning door to door. Dever is the worst candidate for a competitive office I've seen the GOP put up in more than 30 years. It isn't that Dever is conservative. Chris Monzel and Steve Chabot are to the right of the center of their constituents, no doubt about it. Dever is running a nasty campaign with a caustic personality. He is the male version of Jean Schmidt.
Thanks to the cosmic ineptitude of Chairman Alex, the 28th will be a blue rock that can withstand the red wave otherwise washing over the United States.
After 40 years of Republican activism, I am so pleased to be ending my political career surrounded by such great Americans like Stan Chesley, Al Sharpton and Jerry Springer. These people represent everything I fought against but it's so nice we are able to come together and support our man Micah.
I hope I get an invite to Micah's Victory Party next Tuesday. It will be a great pleasure to meet some of the greatest People in politics. As a conservative businessman and veteran, you'd think I might not have much use for a notorious plaintiff's attorney, a celebrated freak show, host mad race-baiting "reverends" who, make their living shaking down people like me with the threat of boycotts.
But we've all come together to rally around the man with the experience and integrity to serve us well: Law Clerk Micah Kamrass.
My law clerk is going to wipe the floor with your Golden Boy Dever. I can't wait to discuss that at lunch with you, Alex. Maybe I will bring Micah along and he can dress you down for your slanderous ads and message of greed and bigotry like Dr. Sammarco did to you in 2012. You deserved that beatdown and you'll deserve the one that's coming your way. Maybe when the Republicans offer a positive message and start helping people besides themselves you guys can be a viable political party again.
Signed.
Your good friend Tim Burke
When you come from the right family and the old man hands you the seat on a silver platter when no one is paying attention, no one gives a rat's ass about who gives you cash or who you give cash to.
Please don't let Rick Bryan and Doyle Webster help Micah Kamrass kill me.
Money is good but perhaps I should have developed a message too, one that didn't undercut nearly every other Republican candidate.
Just because you went to law school doesn't mean you can pass the bar exam and become a lawyer. Believe me, I know.
Dint worry Mike, our campaign expertise will do for you exactly what it did for Pete Kambelos and Wayne Lippert.
As long as Micah doesn't take any money from any fat, smelly, disgusting, inbred west Siders, he is OK in my book.
Why is it that Republicans are poised for historic gains elsewhere, but won't see any in this area, and might actually lose ground in Hamilton County?
For it being such a great year, why is it that Republicans are on the verge of losing a probate judgeship and state board if education race, in addition to once again failing to take a competitive 28th?
Why is it that the candidate to take out a popular county auditor has no message that doesn't undercut the rest of the ticket ?
Why is it that the Republican 10-term Congressman is getting out hustled by a rookie and might actually lose Hamilton County?
Is it possible that the GOP will lose a judgeship to an attorney who doesn't even practice in Hamilton County?
"Blue Rock" may think that all these campaigns are being run by the gang that can't shoot straight at 700 Walnut. That just isn't the case. Owing, probably, to the ineptitude at 700 Walnut, several campaigns have outsourced campaign management to a local consultant.
Doesn't look like they're going to do it any better and might make things worse, since they're sucking money out of messaging and into their own pockets, while still delivering the same pathetic results.
Stan Chesley was great for my career. I am sure he will be just as helpful to Micah.
How is it the Republican Party was so much more organized in the primaries to defeat the Tea Party than they've been in the general to defeat Democrats?
Hilarity - when the same morons who said Dever had no chance to win the primary now proclaim he has no chance to win the general.
A sneaky last minute mailer isn't going to work anymore after the nastiness Dever has spewed in the general. I am glad to have sat the primary out because Rick wasn't going to win this either. The simple fact is that the Republicans can't win close races like this because three don't get good candidates and don't run good campaigns. They are the Ohio StateBuckeyes of politics. Three win races they are supposed to win but they are too dysfunctional to win he close ones anymore.
Question - what is a "sneaky last minute mailer", and how does it differ from the usual last minute mailer?
