Prominent Qualls supporter accused of vote fraud

Roxanne Qualls supporters getting ready to vote

Dear fellow tax hikers, another prominent streetcar supporter has been accused of fraud.  Two months ago streetcar supporter Candace Klein was accused of financial fraud.  And now Randy Simes, a prominent Roxanne Qualls supporter and streetcar advocate, is being accused of vote fraud.  Mr. Simes, a Chicago resident, voted for Qualls in September's Mayoral Primary.

Between the legions of urban hipsters supporting Qualls, and the Chicago fraud vote, how DID Roxanne get her ass kicked in last month's vote?

We applaud Randy's enthusiasm for Qualls and the streetcar.  Not to mention the $50 he donated to Roxanne Qualls in June - in which he reported his address as Chicago.

Team Qualls needs all the help it can get.  Even though Simes apparently hasn't lived in Cincinnati in years, he knows Roxy needs his vote.  We would travel the country to round up votes for Roxanne.  We'd even help organize the dead to cast their ballots for Qualls.  Those of us who believe in the streetcar, stadiums, and parking plan must do everything we can to elect Roxanne Qualls as our next Mayor.

Parsons Brinkerhoff must be crapping themselves if they're having employees fly in from out of State to illegally vote for Roxy.

I noticed from the article that old Randy was staying at the OTR hovel of Travis "Whitey" Estell too. Frauds of a feather...

Alex T, please refer this scumbag to the Prosecutor's Office. He's basically flaunting his actions a la Melowese Richardson. If you really want to be competitive inside the City limits you have to convince us that our votes actually mean something. Act!

I see also that Randy lied about his employer on the contribution form. That, or the Qualls camp lied about it when they completed their campaign finance documents. UrbanCincy is a blog you run (poorly)as a hobby, toolbag. Your employer is Parsons Brinkerhoff, which not coincidentally benefits financially from the streetcar. What were Randy and Roxy trying to hide? Will Roxy give back the ill-gotten contribution from the fraudster Symes?

Does this mean I'm not the only potential felon that is supporting Team Qualls? Randy, call me babes! I have some friends at Cincinnati Magazine who can write up a few dozen puff pieces on you to make you look like you've actually contributed something positive to society.
XOXO - Muah!!!

Did you see all the free pub we gave this guy to defend himself? And the plug we gave his blog? We're doing everything we can to support the parking plan, the streetcar and Roxanne Qualls. In fact, we work harder to support the Qualls campaign than the Qualls campaign itself.

Voter fraud doesn't exist. At least that's what I always told people when I ran the board of elections. Then when I ran for judge, I would go before large audiences and explain how cool it was to be the last county to report in the last swing state when George W. Bush was re-elected in 2004. Then, I got beat for judge by a totally incompetent and unprofessional candidate who had about 2,000 of her supporters too ignorant to vote in the right place all of a sudden defeat me. Yes, I lost an election in the overwhelmingly Republican year of 2010 when even a Mallory got defeated. Do I still believe voter fraud doesn't exist? Maybe, maybe not, depends on who I am talking to.

Has anyone noticed that I am trying to take the focus off the fact that we don't have a candidate for mayor and that we have no hope of a council majority? Do you see how excited I pretend to be by promoting all these township and school board candidates???????

What's the big deal if I voted illegally once? Here in Chicago if we only vote twice, Democratic leaders ask why we're being so lazy. The only reason you Cincinnati people have a problem with this is because you don't want a woman to become Mayor.

Every time you criticize Randy I take a drink of some fine wine you cannot afford. Oh wait that's not a bad thing. So every time you criticize Randy I go after Chris Finney. No wait that's not bad either. Ok, I got it. Every time you criticize Randy I stop taking my pills and get meaner, more stupider and tweet until the wee hours of the morning. Yes that's it.

I've taken to giving my wife straight razor shaves of her back and shoulder hair with my antique shaving kit. Nothing like a smooth piggy.
